The Set Odds’ 4-4-2 Betting System: Post-Weekend Review [Week 35]

Hello all,

It was a disappointing weekend of betting as sadly the accas and FGS bets went down.

We’ve netted a fair bit of profit in recent weeks but it wasn’t to be last weekend with previous in-form side Plymouth ruining things by going down 2-0 at Lee Bowyer’s Charlton on Saturday.

The 11/1 Mixed Multiple would’ve landed – at reduced odds with Peterborough‘s game voided due to their draw – had the Green Army at least grabbed a stalemate in the capital, but it wasn’t to be.

Both Plymouth and Posh let down the 30/1 Win 5fold but three of the selections sailed in, so it wasn’t that far away.

The Draw Double missed out with Rotherham going down at Southend, but MK Dons and Blackpool played out a draw, and the BTTS Acca wasn’t too far away.

England did well on Friday night in Holland, looking solid yet unspectacular to earn a 1-0 win.

They never really looked like conceding but will be disappointed not to have added more goals to the single Jesse Lingard strike.

The Three Lions are in action at Wembley on Tuesday night against Italy, and I fancy their chances at home.

England don’t concede many with Gareth Southgate at the helm so I expect them to keep it tight, but like against the Dutch, they could well find a second half winner.

So, I’m going HT Draw, FT win England at 4/1 with Betfair (bet HERE).

I’ll probably have a little play on the FGS but will need to wait for the line-ups, so keep an eye on The Set Odds Twitter for that one.
