Stoke continued their recovery from a dismal start to the season by extending their unbeaten run to six games with a point at West Ham. This change in fortune has been aided by a kind fixtures list that has seen them play the bottom-four in their last four, but they’ve now climbed up to 12th and one place above Bournemouth who come into this fixture off the back of a couple of disappointing results.
After thrashing Hull and earning a point against Spurs, the Cherries firstly lost to Middlesbrough and then suffered the embarrassment of handing winless Sunderland their first success of the season. They’re without victory on the road this season (D2-L3) and going back further their only success away from home in their last nine was against Aston Villa, losing six of the other eight matches.
Stoke meanwhile, have won seven of their last 11 versus bottom-half clubs at the Britannia Stadium and the return of Marko Arnautovic provides them a massive boost as they look a totally different attacking proposition with him in the side. At 2.25 the Potters look a cracking price to us.
Best Bet: Stoke Win at 2.25
