Atletico Madrid v Sevilla

Atletico Madrid are back up to 4th after wins in their last two games, at home to Valencia and at Granada. They now trail Sevilla in 3rd by only five points after Sampaoli’s men have been held to draws in their last two, whilst they were also dumped out of the Champions League by Leicester in midweek.
Atletico have won nine of their 13 home games this term, but each of their victories have come over sides currently in the bottom-half and they’ve picked up only two points from the four visits of top-half opponents so far. They were held to draws by both Villarreal and Sevilla at the Calderon last season and so we’re looking to take Atleti on at 1.7.
Sevilla have won five of their last seven on the road, whilst they also managed a draw at Villarreal earlier on in the season. They’ve drawn two of their last three trips to Atletico and they also beat Simeone’s men at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium earlier on in the season. We’re siding with the visitors on the Double Chance to pick up at least a point here.
