Sevilla made it three wins on the bounce as they came from behind to win 2-1 at Real Betis and remain in 3rd, just two points behind Barca. Bilbao, meanwhile, got back to winning ways against Granada to remain in 8th, but they’re seven points off Atletico in 4th.
Sevilla have won nine of their 11 home games this term, including against top-half sides Espanyol, Atletico, Eibar and even Real. Indeed, they kept a clean sheet in the last three visits from top-half sides excluding Barca and Real and so we’d have a touch shorter than the 1.7 currently available, particularly as they’ve won this fixture in the last two seasons.
Bilbao have picked up only two points from their last eight away games and have failed to score in the last four of these. They’ve trailed at the break in four of their last five on their travels and though they’ve only gone to Barca and Real of the sides above them so far, they lost at Atletico and Villarreal last term, as well as at Sevilla. Since they’ve managed only one goal in their last six away, whilst Sevilla have kept a clean sheets in their last two at home, we’re backing the home win to nil.
