Bournemouth v Manchester City Betting Tips

Bournemouth’s season has gone downhill rapidly since they let a three-goal lead over Arsenal slip on 3 January, and they suffered a 6-3 battering at the hands of Everton last time out to extend their winless streak to six across all competitions. The Man City side they face were fortunate to win 2-1 against Swansea, but they’ve now won three fixtures on the trot and will be full of confidence ahead of this clash with an out-of-sorts Cherries outfit.

While it seems hard to believe based on recent form, Bournemouth have been very good against the top sides at home this season. They’ve beaten both Everton and Liverpool at the Vitality, as well as holding Spurs to a goalless draw, although they did lose 0-4 at home in this fixture last season. Furthermore, having conceded 19 in their last six fixtures, they could well be torn apart by Man City. City lost to Everton in a memorable Goodison Park clash, but otherwise they’ve been faultless away against middle-third sides, winning their other four such fixtures and scoring four goals in three of those encounters. As such, they’ll be expecting to go home with three points from this one.
