Bologna v Napoli
15:00
Bologna drew at Cagliari last time out as they remain in decent shape as their only defeat in their last six came at Juve and so they’ve moved up from 16th to 12th in that time. Napoli, meanwhile, were held to a draw at home to Palermo and so remain in 3rd, now six points behind Juve, who also have a game in hand.
Bologna have kept four clean sheets in their last six and have been impressive at the back all season as their defence has been better than anyone else’s outside the top seven. They’ve won half of their 10 home games this term, but they’ve lost both their home games against top-eight side to date, losing 0-1 against Fiorentina and 0-2 against Atalanta. However, they picked up five points from their three home games against the top-three last term, in fact beating Napoli themselves 3-2.
Napoli have won five of their 10 road games, but three of those victories came against teams currently below Bologna in the table. With that in mind, they look too short at 1.5 as they’ve been held to draws by bottom-six clubs Pescara and Genoa already this term. Bologna are certainly capable at home to the top teams and so we’re backing them to pick up at least a draw on the Double Chance.
