The concession of two late goals in their last two games has denied Bournemouth a potential four points. However, the deadline day loan signing of Jack Wilshere will provide Eddie Howe’s side a much needed boost as they still seek their first win of the season. Considering the Cherries have lost eight of their last 11 matches (with their only victory in this time coming against Villa) and they finished behind West Brom last season it could be worth taking the Dorset club on at evens.
It was important for the Baggies that Pulis decided to stay on despite the club’s failure to land one of his preferred targets this summer as he provides a level of stability. Everton are the only side to breach their defence this term with Middlesbrough and Palace, sides with less quality in their ranks, failing to break them down.
Under Pulis 13 of the Albion’s 15 away games against bottom-half opposition have finished with fewer than three goals so it’s worth considering 1.55 for under 2.5 goals or even 2.6 for under 1.5 goals which has occurred in six of the last seven of these matches. They’ve lost only four of the 15 and with Bournemouth seemingly struggling to create so far this season we prefer to back West Brom to take at least a point back to the Midlands.
