5:30pm – 20.08.16 – King Power Stadium
Leicester v Arsenal
Saturday evening’s clash sees the two sides that probably suffered the most disappointing defeats on the opening day. Leicester looked a shadow of their title winning selves but a return to the King Power stadium where the fans act like a 12th man will provide a massive boost along with the return of Robert Huth at the back following his suspension.
Wenger’s decision not to pick a fully-fit Laurent Koscielny proved costly as an inexperienced centre-back pairing of Calum Chambers and Rob Holding got torn to shreds by a rampant Liverpool side. Thankfully for Gunners fans the Frenchman should return but with Gabriel and Mertesacker long-term absentees they still look vulnerable, especially against the likes of Vardy, Marhez and Musa.
Arsenal were the only side to come away from Leicester with all three points last season as they won a 5-3 thriller. That was their only victory away from home against fellow top-six rivals where incredibly all five matches saw at least four goals. With the North-London club looking shaky and the Foxes less assured since Kante departed a goal-fest could well be on the cards again.
