As the Champions League looks set to dominate our TV screens, we can expect some of the biggest names in European football to be on our lips as they attempt to get their hands on Old Big Ears.
But while the history of the competition is punctuated with unlikely heroes who have come up with the goods to get their hands on the famous trophy, some of the same names always seem to rise to the top.
Since its rebrand from the European Cup in 1992, the Champions League has witnessed goals galore (if you ignore a couple of shocking finals in the early noughties). But can you name the top 31 scorers in the past 28 years of elite competition?
