Nice have lost just two games all season but three draws in their last six has seen them drop off the top two and they remain in 3rd, now seven points off leaders Monaco and four behind PSG. Bordeaux have won six of their last 10 and so are up to 6th, four points behind Lyon who currently occupy the Europa League spot in 4th, though Bruno Génésio’s side do have a game in hand.
Nice have won 11 of 15 unbeaten home games this term, including all six visits form top-half sides to date. They led at the break in the last four of these victories and as a result they look an excellent price at 2.3. They thumped Bordeaux 6-1 in this fixture last term and with 16 wins from their last 20 home games, we’d have them closer to evens here.
Bordeaux have won three of their last four on the road, but each of these were against sides currently in the bottom-eight, whilst they were winless in seven on their travels prior to that. They’ve picked up one point from their five meetings with the top-three this term, losing at both PSG and Monaco, and as a result we’re siding with Nice.
