Juventus were held to a draw at Atalanta last time out but they remain a comfortable nine points ahead of Roma as they bid for a sixth consecutive Scudetto. Torino drew for the fourth time in six games as it finished 1-1 when they hosted Sampdoria and so they remain in 9th and are destined for a mid-table finish, though a Turin derby will provide plenty of motivation in itself.
Juventus continue to be imperious at the J Stadium, where they’ve won all their games this term and 33 in a row going back to last season. They’ve led at the break in nine of their last 11 there and conceded just two in nine on their own turf. When hosting teams between 4th and 10th they’ve been a little more vulnerable defensively, conceding in four of their six games against such opposition.
After a winless run of eight away games, Torino have won their last two on the road. However, they’ve struggled at the top teams, losing all six of their trips to top-seven sides, though they did manage to score in all of these games. They’ve shipped nine in their trips to Roma and Napoli and so we’re surprised to see Juve as big as 1.45 here but the home win and both teams to score looks the best value at 2.63.
