Granada were unable to follow up their win over Alaves as they were beaten 1-0 at Leganes, though they’ve moved up to 18th after three wins in their last six and are now only five points from safety. Atletico picked up their first win in three as they beat Valencia 3-0 at home to move back up to 4th, though they’re just a point ahead of Sociedad.
Granada have won their last three at home and their only defeat in their last eight on their own turf came against Sociedad. They’ve beaten Sevilla in that time and since they held Villarreal to a draw in the other visit from a top-six side, so we’re looking to take on Atletico at 1.5, particularly as they have a big Champions League clash with Leverkusen next week.
Simeone’s men have won only three of their last nine on the road and two of those victories came at the current bottom-two. Usually so strong defensively, they’ve kept only one clean sheet in their last four on their travels, making both teams to score of interest at 2.0. However, we’re going to back Granada to continue their excellent home form and pick up at least a point by siding with them on the Double Chance.
