Atalanta once again let a lead slip as they drew for the fourth time in five games, this time at Udinese, though they remain in 5th, which is the final Europa League spot in Italy. Milan are six points behind them in 6th after they were thumped 4-1 at home to Roma to stretch their winless run to four games.
Atalanta lost two of their opening three home games but since then they’ve gone W10-D3-L1 at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia. They’ve beaten the likes of Roma, Napoli and Inter in that time, whilst they managed a 2-2 draw with Juve in their last home game. With that in mind, they look a fair price at 2.2 to secure their spot in the Europa League next term.
Milan have drawn their last three away games but two of those were against bottom-three sides Pescara and Crotone, whilst the other was at the San Siro against Inter. They’ve picked up only one point from their four trips to the sides above them in the table so far, though they did manage to score in three of these and have in fact netted in their last nine on their travels. We’re backing the home win and both teams to score.
