Chelsea vs Leicester City

12.30pm – 15.10.16

Chelsea opted for three at the back in their 2-0 victory against Hull and it will be interesting to see whether Conte sticks with it after a much more assured performance.  The Tigers didn’t offer much in attack that day so on paper it should be a much greater test against the likes of Vardy, Slimani and Mahrez, although they’ve yet to hit top form, especially on the road.

The Foxes have lost all three of their away games this season, including hammerings at the hands of Liverpool and Man United. They did however find the net in each of the defeats meaning they’ve now scored in 21 of their 22 away from home under Ranieri.

Chelsea have really struggled against the league’s stronger outfits (Arsenal and Liverpool) but in their remaining games versus the ‘weaker’ teams they’ve picked up 10 points from a possible 12. Judging by Leicester’s away performances so far this looks a golden opportunity for the Blues to bag three more, especially given the Foxes will have one eye on their Champion League fixture, a competition Ranieri seems to have prioritised. We prefer the Blues to win and both teams to score as their only clean sheet in their last 15 at the Bridge came against Burnley.
